Lagos: Pirate Ship Afternoon Caves Cruise

Head westwards to Lagos and enter the Cape Rocks Caves. Raise the sails and experience the wind power as the engine stops for a while.

Cruise along the River Rio Arade, passing Ferragudo and entering the Atlantic Ocean. Travel west past several beaches: Praia da Rocha, Praia do Vau, Rocks of Ponta João de Arens, Praia de Alvor, Alvor river mouth, and Praia Grande de Lagos.

Stop at the historic harbor of Lagos and visit the 14th-century Castelo de Lagos, as well as the old slave market. Enjoy the sights of Praia da Batata, Praia Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo, and Lands End Ponta da Piedade.

Here, enter small boats to visit the rock formations and caves. There is a chance to walk the plank (for adults only).
